This course will be an investigation of life, from the tiniest micro-organisms to the massive ecosystems of the world. Major themes will include: 1) diversity of life; 2) the molecular basis for life; 3) biological evidence for creation; and 4) cell biology. A historical component will be weaved into many of the units and an in depth discussion of creation stewardship will be conducted. Labs will promote a full understanding of the scientific process including: observation, asking good questions, designing and carrying out experiments, data collection, and communicating results clearly and honestly.
