Class Description: Explore the ongoing story of art and its relationship with religion and politics in this overview history course. Beginning with some of the earliest extant records and ending in our own era, this class is offered as an introduction that will set the stage for more rigorous art history courses III & IV (Interpretation & Critique)
- Art History I = Fall semester: Ancient through Renaissance
- Art History II = Spring semester: Early Modern through Contemporary
Credits: 1 Elective (honors)
Prerequisite: Students must be in high school
