Academic Essay Writing is an eight-week course for junior high and high school students who desire to think critically and write academic papers successfully. Students will learn tools for writing effective academic essays by employing the canons of persuasive prose—Invention, Organization, Style, and Revision—and how to properly cite their work in Turabian/Chicago style. Students who satisfactorily complete this course will be equipped to think wisely and write persuasively for academic success and cultural engagement.
