Students will learn and apply the properties of circles, triangles, quadrilaterals, and other polygons. They will also find the area of these figures and the volume of geometric solids. Students will understand transformations, reflections, rotation, and dilations of figures on the coordinate plane and apply the Pythagorean Theorem to numerous problem-solving situations. Finally, students will learn and apply trigonometric ratios, the Law of Sines and Cosines, and trigonometric identities.
