Is Logos Online School Accredited?
Yes. Our curriculum and staff have been evaluated by the National Association of Private Schools.
Are the online classes interactive?
Yes. We use Adobe Connect for our classes. This technology allows students and teachers to interact using webcams and microphones in real time. It's not face-to-face but it sure looks like it. The format of each class period is determined by its teacher. Adobe Connect allows for audio and visual communication between student and teacher, similar to a physical classroom. You can see samples of various classes on our YouTube channel.
How does a student make up an absence?
Recordings of missed classes are available on request. These must be viewed by absent students in a timely manner. The student is responsible for obtaining any notes or assignments from any class from another student or any bulletin board maintained by the Teacher.
What equipment is needed for an online class?
All you need is a good internet connection (reliable Wifi, 3G or higher, DSL or higher) and a device with audio and visual capabilities (desktop or laptop works best, but a tablet or smart phone may be used).
