Basic Mechanics of Writing
Session B: August 3 - August 28
Days: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday (3 days each week)
Times (Pacific Time): 9:00am - 9:50am - Hannah Struble
Class Description: The intent of this 4-week class is to equip students with the basic tools they will need to succeed in writing for the Humanities courses. We will tackle basic sentence structures and parts of speech for a better understanding of how to construct longer written pieces. Students will also write a few full-length essays in this course using Turabian-style format.
This course is a good refresher for those who have already taken English I, in addition to any students wanting to hone their writing skills for other courses.
