The course is divided into two basic elements: the camera and image processing.Students will learn what makes a photograph outstanding and how to apply these standards to their own photography. They will learn the rules of photography regarding ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed in addition to rules of composition.

Each week they will have a photo assignment to apply what they have learned in class. They will receive a grade and feedback on each photo assignment. They will also learn how to constructively critique and praise each others photos. By the end of the course, students will know the basic rules of photography and composition, how to work their cameras and process their photos and apply these creative techniques to express themselves as a creation of God and show the truth and beauty of his creation.
