Class Description:  This basic drawing class gives students the chance to try drawing various subjects. Students will draw a still life, landscapes, urban landscapes, people, and various animals. Students will complete their work in a sketchbook and use various media as well as mix mediums. Concepts covered in the class will be accuracy of shape, quick sketching, and color mixing. 

    Required Materials:  

    • Sketchbook 8 x 10”
    • Graphite drawing pencil
    • Black pen (preferably waterproof) can be a ballpoint pen, felt tip, brush pen, etc.
    • Eraser
    • Sharpener
    • Small watercolor set
    • Colored pencil set (at least 12)
    • Water Pen/brush or watercolor paint brushes (one small detail one and one larger one)
