Overview of Our Program
Nationally Accredited Diploma
Logos Online School is accredited by the National Association of Private Schools (NAPS) and NCAA approved.

- All students meeting our graduation requirements will receive an honors-level diploma (LOS uses a 5.0 grade point system).
- Our counselors are readily available and will work with you (at no additional cost) to chart the best options for your student.
- Official transcripts are available upon request at no cost.
Our Scope and Sequence
Online classes feature live, teacher-led instruction on a DAILY basis (Monday through Thursday)--50 minutes each day for 34 weeks.
Below is an overview of the courses generally taken at each grade level. There is a great deal of flexibility, however, and our counselors can help you decide what might work best for your student.
With the additional workload of our Integrated Humanities courses (all of which are worth three credits), students taking four courses are classified as full-time students.
Typical Course of Study for Junior High (7th & 8th grade):

Integrated Humanities A or B |
Pre-Algebra* or Algebra 1 |
Physical Sci. or Logic** |
English 1* or 2* or Latin 1 or 2*** |
*These are middle-school courses. If taken in high school, these classes will count only as electives on the high school transcript. They are non-honors courses.
**We recommend Logic be taken in eighth grade, taking the place of science though it is actually considered a Language Arts course in classical education. This has long been the practice of Logos School (bricks and mortar). Eighth grade is the "sweet spot" for taking Logic, though it's never too late! Logic may also be taken as an elective in high school, and it is highly recommended if not taken in eighth grade.
***Foreign language courses taken in 7th or 8th grade will NOT be applied to the high school transcript. If taken in high school, these classes WILL count as a credit on the high school transcript.
