Course Description: German 1 introduces students to the essential grammar and vocabulary of modern German. The end goal is that students will be able to read, hear, understand, and articulate themselves well in German. To achieve this, we will use the textbook's grammatical explanations, supplementary readings from the Luther Bible, and speaking exercises with Usborne's First 1000 Words.

Credits: 1 / Elective (Honors)

Prerequisite: This course is for high school students

Mtg. Days: Mon., Tues., Wed., & Thur. (4 days each week)

    • Wie Geht's: An Introductory German Course
    • Usborne's First Thousand Words in German
