Washington brothers Aaron (2018 LOS Alumna) and Ryan Andrews (LOS Sophomore) made local news by putting their 3-D printer to work in supporting efforts against COVID-19. When a family friend and nurse directly working with COVID-19 patients asked for protective equipment on social media, Aaron and Ryan responded by designing, producing, and donating their own lightweight face shields for medical personnel and those at risk of contracting the virus. They didn't stop there, and have now donated more than 75 face shields to nurses and nursing homes in Georgia, California, Washington, and Canada. Way to go Aaron and Ryan! Go Lions!
