Class Description: This course is specifically targeted to juniors and seniors who will be taking their first, or second attempt at the ACT test in preparation for college admissions. The course is designed to prepare students for standardized test taking (aimed more specifically at the ACT) by teaching students the overall layout of the test, and test taking strategies, with a brief and general review of concepts. Students will be drilled on question types and will take at least four full practice tests during the four weeks of the course. The goal is to build the students’ confidence through familiarity with the test. Often, although not always, students will see an increase in score with the taking of a test prep course.
