Course Description: Students will benefit from Saxon’s incremental approach and very frequent concept review in the problem sets. This course covers percentages, area, ratio, order of operations, fractions, simple word problems, and beginning algebraic concepts.

 

Credits: 1 (Math), Non-honors

This is a junior-high-level course. If taken in high school, this class will count as an elective on the high school transcript, and it will not fulfill one of the required math credits. 

Mtg. Days:  Mon., Tues., Wed., & Thur. (4 days each week)

    • Saxon Algebra ½ Student Text, 3rd Edition
    • Saxon Algebra ½ Solutions Manual, 3rd Edition
