Class Description:  The CLT (Classic Learning Test) “offers a more edifying testing experience and reflects a holistic education experience.”  It is the newest of college entrance exams and is often taken by students who are homeschooled or in Classical Christian schools.  This course is specifically targeted to juniors and seniors who will be taking their first, or second attempt at the CLT in preparation for college admissions.  The course is designed to prepare students for standardized test-taking (aimed more specifically at the CLT) by teaching students the overall layout of the test, and test-taking strategies, with a brief and general review of concepts.  Students will be drilled on question types and will take at least three full practice tests during the four weeks of the course.  The goal is to build the student's confidence through familiarity with the test.  Often, although not always, students will see an increase in scores with the taking of a test prep course.
